What are the two types of RADV audits?
There are two types of RADV audits that are conducted by CMS. These are:
- Annual national level audits
- Contract-level RADV audits
The annual national audits are meant to estimate the national MA improper payment rate while contract-level RADV audits are conducted to identify and recover improper payments.
